More than 20,000 people arrived for the Radio 1 dance event while another 2,000 headed to St George's Market for live music. The main event was broadcast live on Radio 1 for two hours from 2300 GMT but DJs were on stage from 1900 GMT on Tuesday. The headline act was Radio 1's Judge Jules. Northern Ireland was well represented in the rest of the line up with Agnelli & Nelson, Col Hamilton, Gleave Dobbin and Phil Kearon. 'Act sensibly' Special bus services were laid on to get revellers home. Earleir, the organiser Gerry Copeland, of Belfast City Council, urged the partygoers to act sensibly. "One thing that people should do is dress for the weather. "Regardless if they're going to St George's Market or the city hall, make sure that they wear warm clothing." "Also, people should be aware there is no alcohol being sold on site, and that there will be no glassware permitted onto the city hall site," said Mr Copeland.
