Front Garden intervention sought
A Wiltshire MP is asking Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott to intervene over plans to develop on Swindon's Front Garden area.

North Wilts MP James Gray is asking Mr Prescott to intervene over plans for homes on the site near the M4.

He says any development would have an impact on increased traffic levels in his constituency.

Part of the plans could include a tunnel under the M4 which would lead to Mr Gray's constituency.

The scheme also includes plans for 4,500 new houses.
