Lindsey is back at work two weeks after her husband's death |
Snooker star Paul Hunter left frozen sperm so his widow Lindsey could have more children by him, she has said. The three-times Masters champion died of cancer at Kirkwood Hospice, Huddersfield, two weeks ago, aged 27.
She told BBC Look North the two of them - who have a 10-month-old daughter, Evie Rose - had discussed the future without him.
"I have not made any decisions about it yet, but it has opened that opportunity if I wanted to," she said.
She said the frozen sperm donation "was something we talked about. It was something that was put in the pipeline".

She said she was proud to have known her husband, who was a down-to-earth character.
He could never understand why the public and the media seemed so interested in him, she added.
The snooker champion was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005. He continued playing, despite his illness and the debilitating chemotherapy treatment.
Hunter was tipped as a future world champion |
At times TV viewers saw him looking tired and in obvious pain or discomfort.
"It was a big relief for him to die - to be out of pain," his widow said.
She has now returned to work.
"I won't plan for the future at the moment," she said.
"I have strong support from Paul's family and mine, and that is good for our daughter."
"There's going to be lots of hard times ahead, particularly our daughter's first birthday."
