Car ban for anti-social teenager
A 14-year-old boy from Birmingham has been banned from sitting in the front seat of any car after being issued with an anti-social behaviour order.

The order is thought to be the first of its kind issued in Birmingham.

Birmingham City Council applied for the order after Sanu Miah obstructed police upset neighbours and was involved in burglary, joyriding and car theft.

Residents of Shaw Hill Grove, in Alum Rock, also complained about his verbal abuse and his intimidating behaviour.

The order, granted by magistrates in Birmingham, will last for the next three years.

It prohibits the teenager from travelling in the front of any car in the area of the local authority or be on any property without the permission of the owner.

He is also not allowed out after 2100 BST unless he is accompanied by his mother.
