An award-winning garden from the Chelsea Flower Show will be re-created at a pub in the Black Country. The Dog, in Warley, is to get a replica of a garlanded garden from the popular show.
The pub's operators, Ember Inns, sponsored the garden's designers and, in return, they offered to create a replica of their successful design at one of the company's pubs.
The Dog, on Hagley Road West, was chosen as the lucky recipient of the garden, which aims to change perceptions of the traditional pub garden.
Talking point
Pub manager Jim Maguire, who has managed The Dog for seven years, said it was very exciting.
"The garden is in need of a new lease of life so the features that the designers will bring to it are going to be a real talking point with our guests.
"We intend to give the garden a proper opening on Sunday."
Charlie Barrett, one of the designers who created the garden, said: "Each feature has been specifically designed for Chelsea and we are particularly excited that this innovative design is going to be replicated within an actual Ember Inn garden."
