Driver admits causing boy's death
A driver has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a seven-year-old cyclist on Tyneside.

David Cameron, from Blakelaw, Newcastle, was cycling across Stamfordham Road in the city last June when he was hit by a car.

Mark Tye, 21, from Chapel Park, Newcastle, appeared at Newcastle Crown Court on Monday.

He admitted causing David's death by dangerous driving and is due to be sentenced next month.
