Man's ASBO will apply nationwide
Graham White
Graham White had a history of anti-social behaviour
A Northumberland man has been given a three-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) banning him from misbehaving anywhere in England or Wales.

It applies to Graham Charles White, 33, formerly of Newbiggin by the Sea, but now living in Newcastle.

Bedlington Magistrates Court issued the Asbo after he was convicted of a public order offence at Wansbeck Hospital.

Police said he had a long history of anti-social behaviour and had been arrested numerous times.

The conditions of the ASBO apply across England and Wales and prohibit him from threatening violence, and engaging in abusive or insulting behaviour, or conduct which is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to others.

Sergeant Stephen Cochrane, of Northumberland Area Command Anti-Social Behaviour Unit, said: "White has a long history of anti-social behaviour in South East Northumberland and has been arrested numerous times for offences including assault, public order and being drunk and disorderly.

"Anti-social behaviour has a negative impact on communities.

"Along with partner agencies we will always seek to take action against the small minority who flout the law and disrupt other people's lives."
