Police on Teesside are imposing a night-time curfew in an effort to curb anti-social behaviour among youths. For six months from 19 April, parts of Redcar will be off-limits to youngsters under the age of 16.
The move follows a similar curfew in Middlesbrough and also one implemented by Cumbria Police in Wigton.
Cleveland Police says youngsters found in the Blayberry Close, Burnmoor Close and Kent Close areas between 2100 BST and 0600 BST will be escorted home.

A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: "The curfew will turn these parts of the estate into a no-go area for troublemakers. "Anyone gathering in groups which are causing intimidation, distress or harassment to local residents will be rounded up.
"Anyone present who does not live in the area may be asked to leave and not return for a given period of time.
"If that person refuses or breaches the direction they may be arrested."
Notices are being posted in the target areas giving details of the orders.
The force spokesman added: "This is a direct response to residents' complaints of anti-social behaviour on the estates and it will be in force for six months."
