Mrs Cook's body was found in Camber Close, Crawley
A 59-year-old Crawley man accused of killing his seriously ill wife has appeared before Lewes Crown Court.

Robert Cook, of Camber Close, Pound Hill, is charged with murdering and assisting the suicide of Vanessa Cook, who had multiple sclerosis.

Mrs Cook's body was found at their West Sussex home in October last year.

Mr Cook, who was charged last month, was released on unconditional bail by the town's magistrates. He is due to return to court on 13 July.
