Man in court over MS wife's death
A 59-year-old man accused of murdering and assisting the suicide of his seriously ill wife who had multiple sclerosis has appeared in court.

Robert Cook was arrested last October after Vanessa Cook's body was found at their home and charged last week.

Mr Cook, who lives in Camber Close of Pound Hill, Crawley, West Sussex, was released on unconditional bail by the town's magistrates.

He is due to appear before Lewes Crown Court on 18 May.
