Nurses offered jobs in Australia
More than 80 nurses from Staffordshire have been offered jobs at a hospital in Australia.

Cairns Base Hospital in Queensland advertised its posts in the county's newspapers after Stoke-on-Trent's main hospital announced job cuts.

Officials said it had more than 100 applications, has offered jobs to 84 people and has three more to interview.

University Hospitals of North Staffordshire is to cut 1,000 jobs to help combat a �15.5m debt.
