Safety advice given on M6 Toll
M6 Toll booths
The toll motorway starts at Junction 4 of the M6
People using the M6 Toll road are being given leaflets telling them how to avoid becoming tired at the wheel.

Toll assistants have been handing out more than 10,000 information leaflets to drivers in the run-up to and over the bank holiday weekend.

They advise drivers to take 15-minute breaks for every two hours of a journey and also to have caffeine drinks at regular intervals.

Drivers are also being told not to use the hard shoulder on the 25-mile route.

The UK's only toll motorway links junction four of the M6 at Coleshill, Warwickshire, with junction 11 near Cannock, Staffordshire.
