A woman who pleaded guilty to supplying a nine-year-old child with heroin and crack cocaine has been told she faces a "substantial prison sentence". Emma Kelly, 31, of no fixed address, admitted the offences at Hove Crown Court on Wednesday.
She was remanded in custody until 16 August in order for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.
"Supplying Class A drugs to small children is about as bad as it gets," Judge Richard Hayward told her.
Kelly pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying heroin and one count of supplying crack cocaine between August 2002 and May 2005.
She had also previously admitted two counts of cruelty to a child between August 2003 and January 2005.
