A woman has admitted two counts of cruelty to a child over a period of nearly a year and a half. The 31-year-old, of no fixed address, appeared at Lewes Crown Court in East Sussex, and was also accused of nine drugs offences.
She pleaded not guilty to five counts of supplying diamorphine, three of supplying crack cocaine and one of supplying cannabis.
Judge Richard Brown remanded the woman in custody to a date to be fixed.
The child cruelty offences took place between August 2003 and January 2005.
The drugs charges relate to the period between August 2002 and May 2005.
