Safety campaign after boy's death
Children walking to school
Children are being encouraged to walk to school safely
The death of a three-year-old boy run over in Surrey has led to 250 children setting out on a sponsored walk.

The walk around Onslow village in Guildford was aimed at encouraging pupils to walk to school safely during International Walk to School Week.

Parents launched the campaign about a year ago after Harry Charlson died in an accident on Farnham Road.

Money raised by the Queen Eleanor's Primary School children on Monday was in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The campaign aims to keep children safe and promote walking as a healthy alternative.
