A teenage waitress has denied in court she made up a story about Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo attempting to rape her in a hotel bathroom. The girl, who was 16 at the time, angrily dismissed defence claims she "kissed and cuddled" the striker in his hotel room in Doncaster on 7 May 2004.
"I know what he did to me and I know what he did was wrong," she told Sheffield Crown Court.
Mr Agogo, 25, of St David's Mews, Bristol, denies attempted rape.

A jury has already heard claims the waitress was forced into the player's bathroom in Room 101 where she was assaulted.
Andrew McFarlane, defending, suggested the girl had delivered room service to Mr Agogo's room and they then kissed and cuddled.
But the girl shouted: "I did not kiss him and I did not cuddle him. I did not ask for it.
"I did not touch him and I did not ask for it. He is lying."
Tearful conclusion
Asked if she had become obsessed with seeing Mr Agogo brought to trial after the incident she replied: "I wanted to stand here and show him I'm not afraid, so everyone will see that I'm not lying.
"I wanted him to get done for what he's done. I didn't want him to get away from it.
"I have suffered this past year so much and he should suffer for what he's done to me."
The girl left the court in tears after Mr McFarlane's questioning.
Police interview
Later, the jury heard extracts from Mr Agogo's police interview after he was arrested in Bristol.
He told officers the girl had come into his room after he ordered room service.
Mr Agogo said to them: "We talked and then we kissed for a bit and she said she couldn't stay for long.
"She said she'd come back when she'd finished work.
"She didn't come back or if she did I didn't know because I'd fallen asleep."
In the interview he denied accusations he had pulled the girl into the room.
"Why would I pull her into the room when I've got my team mate right in there?" Mr Agogo told officers.
The trial was adjourned until Wednesday, when the footballer is expected to give evidence.
