Firm gambles on third casino plan
A third application has been lodged to build a casino in Sheffield in anticipation that Britain's gambling laws are about to be relaxed.

South African leisure company Sun International wants to spend 110m on a gambling complex near the Don Valley Stadium in the east of the city.

It is claimed the development would create around 1,000 permanent jobs.

Other proposed casino sites in the city are at Meadowhall and at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane ground.
