Parents can choose school dinners

My School Lunch website
People can vote online until 4 July

Parents are being given the option to choose their children's school dinners on their local council's website.

Telford and Wrekin Council, in Shropshire, said the aim of the move was to get more children to take advantage of school dinners.

Currently just 39% of pupils eat a meal provided by the school.

Parents, pupils and teachers have until 4 July to vote online for what meals will be included in the menu during the next school term.

The website offers people a choice of four different menus from which to choose.
