Flood barriers have been put up alongside the River Severn in Shropshire as residents begin clearing up after the weekend's flooding.

Frankwell car park in Shrewsbury is closed as river levels are expected to rise, peaking during the afternoon.

The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for the Severn in Shrewsbury and for Ironbridge.

Many roads are still closed across the county although some are starting to open.

Arriva Trains Wales is resuming its services between Hereford and Shrewsbury on Sunday evening.

The line had been closed due to flooding at Ludlow.
