Warnings after further heavy rain
A number of flood warnings are in place across the West Midlands after more wet weather.

A warning has been issued for the River Leam from Marton to Leamington Spa and the River Stour and its tributaries, in Warwickshire.

There are also flood warnings for the rivers Penk and Blithe in Staffs.

The Met Office is predicting more heavy rain in Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Birmingham and the Black Country.

The heavy and persistent rain will continue and as much as 20 to 30mm (0.8-1.2in) could fall, the Met Office said.

There are also flood watches for the rivers Churnet and Team in Staffordshire.

Drivers have been warned about difficult driving conditions.

Flooding in Wellington, Shropshire, is causing delays and alterations to train services between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
