Rail line closing for nine days
A railway line between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury is closing for nine days for engineering works.

Central Trains and Arriva Trains Wales will run bus services instead, starting on 14 October.

New signalling is being installed between Codsall and Telford, which will reduce delays on the Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury line, Network Rail said.

Train services will resume on 23 October following the work to replace equipment dating from the 1920s.
