The Conservatives have taken control of a Shropshire council. Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council was the only authority in the county having elections this year.
The Tories gained two seats from independent councillors. The new-look council has 22 Tories, 10 Labour, six Lib Dems and two independents.
Some 14 seats were up for grabs on the council, where Tories had half of the seats before polls closed at 2200 BST on Thursday.

The Shrewsbury Parliamentary seat was a high-water mark of the New Labour victory in 1997, but the seat was won back by the Tories in 2005.
