Farmers in the West Midlands are being asked to think about producing crops for environmentally-friendly fuel. About 300 delegates are expected at a conference being held in Shropshire on Tuesday to hear about commercial opportunities for renewable energy.
The government wants to see more farms grow crops like Miscanthus and oil seed rape which can provide power and fuel.
Its Biomass Taskforce will lead the talks, which will also include experts from the region.
