New NHS slimming club for borough
People concerned about their weight can now get help from a new slimming club in Telford being run by the NHS.

The Why Weight club has been set up by the Telford & Wrekin Primary Care Trust and hopes to help the borough's 75,000 overweight and obese people.

Described as the UK's first NHS slimming club it is being held from Monday at five locations.

NHS motivation and nutrition trainers and borough council physical activity instructors will take the classes.
