| Parents angry at plans to merge two primary schools in Shropshire have launched a petition in a bid to fight the proposals. A government grant of more than �4m is to be spent on a new primary school for the Malinslee area of Telford. Under the plans, Langley Saint Leonards Primiary School is to merge with Malinslee Primary School. But some parents have criticised the move and say they have not been consulted about the plans.
