Eight people have been arrested for alleged drugs offences after a series of police raids involving 50 officers. The Crown pub on High Street, Bridgnorth, was closed by West Mercia Police on Friday evening as part of an on-going anti-drugs operation.
Police said the arrests were mainly for the supply of Class A drugs.
"It was the result of information from the public concerned about the use of drugs in pubs at night," Det Insp John Whittingham told BBC News.
"We have arrested a further nine people over the last few weeks for possession or intent to supply, of which some have been charged.
"Three people were arrested in the Crown pub last night and a ninth person was arrested in the street for a disorder offence."
