Two men have been charged following a series of raids across Shropshire and mid Wales by police and immigration officials. The operation - codenamed Abietite - was part of an investigation to target an alleged international immigration ring.
Two people from Shropshire have been charged with conspiracy to facilitate illegal immigration.
The raids were carried out on Tuesday morning at 17 addresses, including about a dozen takeaway food shops.
Officers called at properties in Dorrington, Shrewsbury, Telford, Craven Arms, Church Stretton, Oswestry and Newtown in Powys.
Seven people were arrested and 19 suspected illegal immigrants were detained.
Balwinder Singh Chatha, from Dorrington, was charged with conspiracy to facilitate illegal immigration and Ranjit Singh Chatha faces the same charge along with obtaining property by deception.
