Appeal to generous donor
Princess Diana's wedding dress
Princess Diana's wedding dress is Elizabeth Emmanuel's most famous

Staff at a Shropshire charity shop want to thank the person who anonymously donated an exclusive, designer wedding dress.

The gown, by Princess Diana's wedding dress designer Elizabeth Emmanuel, was found among a bundle of unwanted items given to the PDSA shop in Wellington.

The dress was sold for 150 at an auction organised by staff at the shop.

It was bought by a Telford bride-to-be, who doesn't want to be named because it is a wedding day surprise for her fiance.

Staff at the shop have appealed for the original owner of the dress to come forward so they can thank them personally.

Assistant manager Anna Bromley says everyone at the shop would like to meet the unknown donor.
