Bishop leads final Easter service

The Bishop of Oxford will retire on his 70th birthday
The Bishop of Oxford conducts his last Easter service on Sunday morning before retiring from the diocese.

The Right Reverend Richard Harries will officially retire on his 70th birthday - 2 June, 2006 - after 19 years service as bishop of the diocese.

The longest serving bishop in the House of Lords will lead the Easter services at Christ Church Cathedral.

The diocese of Oxford covers the three counties of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
