A husband has appeared in court charged with shooting dead his wife and her sister at a family barbecue. Unemployed bricklayer Stuart Horgan, 39, is also accused of trying to murder their mother during the party at Highmoor Cross, Oxfordshire.
Jacqueline Walton is still critically ill in hospital following the incident nearly two weeks ago.
Mr Horgan, of Plaistow, east London, was remanded in custody to appear back at Oxford Crown Court on 13 August.
Vicky Horgan, 27, died at the party at her house on 6 June, while her sister Emma, 25, of Reading, Berks, died shortly afterwards in hospital.
