Husband charged on double murder

Two women were killed and one critically injured
A husband has been charged with shooting dead his estranged wife and her sister and trying to kill her mother at a family barbecue.

Vicky Horgan, 27, and her sister, Emma Walton, 25, died in Sunday's shooting in Highmoor Cross, Oxfordshire.

Their mother Jacqueline is critically ill in hospital.

Stuart Horgan, 39 and from Plaistow, London, has been charged with two murders and one attempted murder. He is due at Oxford magistrates on Wednesday.

Meanwhile Thames Valley Police Authority has confirmed it will look into the one-hour delay before paramedics were given clearance to enter the scene of the shooting by police.
