About 3,000 join in charity race
About 3,000 women are taking part in a charity race in Oxford.

The Cancer Research UK Race for Life is being staged in the city's University Parks and is one of 150 5km races taking place across the UK.

The event coincides with International Cancer Survivor Day, and pink balloons will be released to remember those who have been affected by cancer.

It is the ninth year the race has been held in Oxford and the cash raised will be used for cancer research projects.
