About half of the prints stolen were of paintings by Rolf Harris |
Dozens of painting prints - half of which were by Australian artist Rolf Harris - have been stolen from an Oxfordshire gallery. Two rare prints of Harris' The Boxer, one of which is estimated to be worth more than 8,000, were taken in the raid in Peppard Common on 26 March.
Thieves broke in to the property on the Manor Farm Industrial Estate at about 0200 BST, but were disturbed by police.
The thieves escaped from officers after a chase.
Their car was later found in Ascot, Berskhire.
One of the men in the car has been described as in his late 20s with an olive complexion and wearing a black woolly hat.
