Train firm targets fare dodgers
Central Trains has fined 142 rail passengers in the past month in an on-going crackdown on fare dodging in the East Midlands.

The figures have been released as the latest "name and shame" posters are prepared by the train operator.

Central Trains have been running a "no-excuses" approach to fare dodging since August.

People caught without a ticket can face a court fine of 232. A total of 33,000 in fines was levied in October.

Anyone fined by Central Trains will be featured in fare-dodger posters at train stations in the region.
