London-bound trains back on track

Passengers may experience minor delays due to security checks
Rail services from the East Midlands to London are back to normal after several days of disrupted service following the bombs blasts on Thursday.

GNER, which operates train services on the East coast mainline, has resumed a normal timetable into London.

Trains out of Kings Cross station had been badly affected by the attacks.

Midland Mainline, which runs a service from Sheffield to London through Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, is back to its normal schedule.

Those unable or unwilling to travel on Friday have been told the can use their tickets on any service on Saturday.

Virgin Cross Country trains are also operating normally.

Random police security checks are possible on all routes into London, which may cause some minor delays.
