Mainline rail routes in and out of London are returning to normal after the bombings.

All the major rail stations are open and National Express, which suspended coach services on Thursday, has resumed normal operations.

Most train operators are now running a normal service after routes were severely disrupted on Thursday.

GNER is operating some services to and from King's Cross. Network Rail praised staff for their work after the blasts.

Network Rail chief executive, John Armitt, said: "We are immensely proud of the effort our people made yesterday: keeping the rail network running, swiftly re-opening stations following security alerts - and, most importantly, making sure people were able to get home at the end of the day."
