A train firm which runs services to the Lincolnshire coast has reassured travellers that they will add extra carriages to cope with demand. In 2003 Central Trains faced criticism over it's single-carriage services between Nottingham and Skegness.
The company said since then its summer services have been running well.
It said it will continue to provide additional carriages on the popular services to meet demand and prevent overcrowding during hot spells.
Jed Burgess from Central Trains said: "We used to get a lot of complaints and quite justified complaints as well about the capacity we had on the line.
"Touch wood, we don't get anything like as many complaints as we used to.
"We have a plan to get people to the coast and back home again."
