Pupils at four Nottinghamshire schools are to benefit from a 250,000 grant. Gelding Comprehensive, Broomhill Juniors, Langold Dyscarr and Leamington Primary Schools are to have their sport facilities improved.
Projects funded by the lottery cash include a new all weather pitch and a multi-use games area.
Paid for by the Big Lottery Fund, the improvements are part of a government scheme aiming to refurbish old facilities as well as build new ones.
