City's rugby club move is on hold
Nottingham Rugby Club's proposed relocation has been put on hold for another season.

The club will stay at Ireland Avenue for the time being, despite the venue having been sold to developers.

Managers at the club said it is totally committed to moving to a new home at Highfields in Beeston, but has faced "unavoidable delays".

The prospect of a ground-sharing arrangement with Notts County appears to have been abandoned.

Highfields is currently the home of Beeston Hockey Club.
