Danielle was shot near her home in St Ann's |
The mother of murdered schoolgirl Danielle Beccan has pleaded for her daughter's killers to come forward. Paula Platt said her 14-year-old daughter was "destined for great things" and was "bright and creative".
Danielle was killed by a gunshot wound to the stomach as she returned from a fair in Nottingham on Saturday.
Mrs Platt, who ran to her daughter after she was shot, said: "I feel very angry. My child is lying in a refrigerator. She should not be there."

The statement from Mrs Platt added: "If my child did something like this I couldn't harbour them.
"I always knew Danielle was bright and intelligent. She was destined for great things.
"She was ambitious and I wanted her to touch the world but not like this.
"Danielle could put her hands to anything. She was so creative, always drawing, doodling and writing stories.
"Her favourite subject at school was English.
"My daughter has been taken away from me and no parent should have to go through this.
Thoughts and prayers
"If anyone knows anything, please examine your consciences and come forward and tell police."
Religious leaders in Nottingham have condemned Danielle's murder and labelled gun crime an "evil" blighting the city.
A statement signed by several local church groups read: "As leaders of the churches in Nottingham, we join unreservedly in our condemnation of the tragic and senseless murder of Danielle Beccan at the weekend.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with her parents, her family and all her friends, along with the staff and pupils of Elliott Durham School where Danielle was a much-loved student."
Information plea
Police are continuing to investigate Danielle's murder, but have not yet determined a motive for her death.
On Monday, Assistant Chief Constable Sue Fish called for those with the killer to come forward, otherwise they would be as responsible.
Police also renewed their plea for information on a gold car.
Danielle was returning from Nottingham's Goose Fair when she was shot on Saturday.
