 Danielle's friends will record a R&B album |
Friends of murdered teenager Danielle Beccan are planning to record a CD in tribute to her. The 14-year-old from St Ann's in Nottingham died on Saturday when she was shot on her way home from a fair.
One friend, Charna Prime, said they wanted to record an R&B album to keep her memory alive.
Danielle, who was walking home with a group of friends just after midnight when she was shot, died in hospital of a stomach wound.
Community development worker Trevor Rose said it was important to record the emotions and concerns in the aftermath of the teenager's death.

"I was approached by some young people in the community who were friends of Danielle and asked me to help them get some tunes together in her memory.
"Danielle's parents think it is good idea that the young people want to show their concern - they are trying to show some respect.

The organisers say they want to release a CD and hold a live event in her memory.
Nottinghamshire Police have described the killing as "senseless" and are trying to establish if it was a case of mistaken identity.
They are appealing for anyone with information on the attack to contact them.
