'Vulnerable adults' homes appeal
Homeless young adults could be housed in private family homes, with the start of a new scheme in part of Notts.

The project in Gedling and Bassetlaw aims to find short term accommodation to under 25s who may be at risk of entering a cycle of drugs and crime.

Around 12 volunteer families are needed to act as hosts for people who might otherwise end up on the streets.

Organisers believe the scheme will provide a vital stepping stone for vulnerable people.
