Bus firm agrees deal with drivers
Managers at an East Midlands bus firm say a deal over pay has been agreed with their unions after months of negotiation.

Trent Buses faced a series of one-day strikes in the weeks leading up to Christmas last year.

Travellers in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham were affected.

A statement from Trent Buses released on Thursday said union representatives are recommending a deal to their members.

The conditions of the deal were not disclosed, but a pay offer was rejected just three days ago.

A Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU) spokesman said meetings were continuing.
