A man is seriously ill after he was shot outside a Nottingham pub. The 22-year-old was injured near the Sporting Chance in Bulwell at about 0400 BST on Saturday.
The man has not been named but is understood to be from the area.
He was taken to the Queens Medical Centre.
Police forensic teams have spent the morning examining the scene.
They want anyone who was around at the time of the shooting to come forward.
