Work starts on 35m shops project
Architect's drawing of regeneration plans
Corby's centre is to be transformed under regeneration plans
Work has started on a new 35m shopping development for Corby town centre.

Two major chain stores and a restaurant will open up when Willow Place is completed.

Mark Rymell, of Land Securities who are project developers at the site, said people would soon start to see work progressing on the rejuvenation scheme.

"Research revealed a mismatch with the population and the shops they want. The 22 new shops will capture money not currently coming into Corby," he said.
