Norwich Union has confirmed it is switching the work of some of its staff in York to India. The move will affect about 25 employees working in one of the company's IT departments.
The changes are part of a nationwide shake-up of jobs, initially announced in December, by Aviva - the new name for Norwich Union.
In total, 150 jobs are being moved to India but Aviva says all the York-based employees will be found other jobs.
