The money raised will be spent on improving facilities |
Passengers flying out of a regional airport are being charged a 3 fee to fund expansion and new facilities. Managers at Norwich International in Norfolk said an Airport Development Fee (ADF) will be invested in improvements to the runway and customer services.
The charge, in force from Monday, is payable on departure, from ticket machines costing 3 for adults and 1 for children aged between two and 15.
Children under two fly free. The scheme is being managed by a car park firm.
