Babyshambles frontman Doherty is on police bail
Rock band Babyshambles, whose lead singer Pete Doherty was recently arrested in a drugs raid, has cancelled a Norwich gig for the third time.

The band was due to play University of East Anglia (UEA) in the city on Friday night, but pulled out, it was revealed just hours before the gig.

Mr Doherty was arrested after a police drugs raid in Shrewsbury on 1 October.

It led to the cancellation of a UEA gig on 2 October. A previously planned gig in September was also postponed.

It is expected that ticket-holders will be refunded.

Following his arrest on suspicion of possession of drugs, Mr Doherty was taken to Telford police station and detained for more than 12 hours before being bailed to return in December.
