New cheap flight route launched
Flybe
There will be new daily routes from Norwich
Britain's third biggest budget airliner Flybe launched its first flight from Norwich Airport on Thursday.

Flybe's service to Belfast is the start of a big expansion for the airport.

Flybe will launch a further three routes over the next couple of months to Edinburgh (from 27 March), Jersey (7 May) and Glasgow (16 June).

Passengers paying from 25 a head climbed on board the Belfast flight on Thursday. Flybe aims to handle 300,000 passengers in its first year.

The airline will provide thousands of seats throughout 2005, and said it will be ruthless in its pricing to beat off the competition.

Mike Rutter, sales director of Flybe, said more destinations are planned.
