The personal trainer of TV chat show host Trisha Goddard has died after suffering head injuries from falling down some stairs, police said. Darrell Greaves, 35, suffered a brain injury when he tumbled down a spiral staircase at a friend's home in Norwich, Norfolk, on Friday.
The father-of two, from Norwich, died in hospital on Sunday.
Norfolk Police said his death had been investigated and there were no suspicious circumstances.
A police spokeswoman said post mortem tests showed Mr Greaves had died of head injuries and a report would be prepared for the coroner.
Ms Goddard, who hosts an ITV chat show based in Norwich, said in a statement: "I'll miss him like hell; as a good mate as well as a motivator."
It is understood Mr Greaves had been Ms Goddard's personal trainer for six years.
